Rolling Hills of Palouse

When I learned about the rolling hills of Palouse region and saw the amazing pictures I knew I'll have to go there one day. Using the Memorial Day weekend trip to Walla Walla, WA was a perfect opportunity to get my first peek into the beauty of the area. Since Steptoe Butte is about 2h drive from where I was staying in Walla Walla I couldn't make a trip for sunrise (I would be way too tired and sleepy at 2-3am to drive there) so I decided to use one evening and experience the sunset. From the looks of it everyone was already there as the hill was packed with photographers but fortunately there was still plenty of space and sun for me.

This was my first visit at Steptoe Butte but I'm sure it won't be the last (and I want to go back there in winter as well).
