Floras Lake

I used the last holiday weekend of the summer to finally check out Floras Lake on the south Oregon coast for some camping and kiteboarding with a group of friends. The trip was very fun and I'll definitely go back next summer on some longer weekends with good wind forecast. Floras is a great place to kiteboard with steady winds and lots of flat water, not to mention you camp with a great view of the lake. One of the best moments was the night sky, we had perfect cloudless conditions and the moon was out and there was still a glimpse of Milky Way core just above the horizon.
